January in Ohio doesn’t exactly whisper “let’s go out and party.” It howls it—through freezing winds and gray skies—but somehow, every time we step into Dick’s Den, winter melts away and the room lights up. And true to form, our first show of 2026 there never missed a beat.
It was a sparkly, gas-fueled, joyride of a night—exactly the kind of energy we needed to kick off what has already been a rollercoaster of a year.
Before anything else, we want to take a moment to say thank you. So many of you reached out to Carole and her family after the passing of her brother. Your messages, your presence, your love—it meant more than we can put into words. He was a kind and beautiful musician, the kind of soul who made every room warmer just by being in it. It was always a gift when he came out to our shows, and we felt that spirit with us in a very real way that night.
And maybe that’s part of what made the show so special.
Because despite the cold outside, inside Dick’s Den it was hot. The kind of heat that comes from music bouncing off the walls, from friends packed shoulder-to-shoulder, from laughter, dancing, and that electric, unspoken connection between band and crowd. It reminded us why we do this—why we keep showing up, keep creating, keep sharing.
There’s something about that room. It holds history, grit, and magic all at once. And every time we play there, it feels like coming home.
If this night was any indication, 2026 is going to be one wild, beautiful ride. And we’re so glad you’re with us for it. ✨
