April is buzzing over here in Gathering Stars land—and not just because spring has finally decided to stick around for more than a day at a time.

We’re officially on the countdown to May 1st and the release of A Day In The Life. After all the writing, arranging, recording, and late-night studio magic, it’s surreal (and a little emotional) to be this close to sharing it with you. This album holds so much of who we are right now, and we can’t wait for it to find its way into your days, your drives, your gatherings, and your quiet moments.

Of course, we’re not just dropping the album—we’re celebrating it properly. Our release show at Natalie’s is right around the corner, and we’re gearing up for a night that feels as big and joyful as this record deserves.

We’ve also got some fun stops lined up along the way. WCBE is welcoming us into the studio for a chat and a few live songs, which we’re especially excited about. There’s something intimate and electric about those moments, and we’re looking forward to sharing a little behind-the-scenes energy from the album.

And as the weather warms up, so does the calendar. We’re thrilled to be part of the Goodale Park Summer Music Series and ComFest this season—two of our favorite ways to celebrate music and community right here at home. These are the kinds of shows that remind us why we do this in the first place.

Looking a little further ahead, we’re keeping a tradition alive—our Garden Party returns in August, four years strong. It’s become one of our favorite ways to gather everyone together, and we’re already dreaming up ways to make this one extra special.

This past year of creating has lit a real spark in us. We feel inspired, energized, and ready to keep riding that lightning. One thing we’re especially excited about is capturing some of that live energy with future recordings—because if there’s anything we’ve learned, it’s that the magic doesn’t stop once the album is finished.

More than anything, we hope A Day In The Life becomes part of your spring and summer soundtrack. Roll the windows down, turn it up, share it with your people—and come see us when you can.
